Katie Liljedahl was born and raised in Connecticut yet set her sights for tropical weather and moving to Charleston, SC where she obtained a BA in English and Creative Writing. She then moved to sunny Santa Barbara, CA where she owend and operated a yoga for kids business, trimmed copious amounts of marijuana, and worked in Reggio Emilia preschools. Due to a chronic illness that mystefied doctors, she crawled through a Masters Degree Program for Early Childhood Education all while running a dog hiking business in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Eventually the illness overcame her and she moved home to join her mother in the fight for answers. Finally in 2020 she was appropriately diagnosied with Chronic Lyme along with its coinfections Bartonella and Rocky Mounted Spotted Fever. After mired in yet another maze, she finally found proper treatment with Dr. Hinchey of Tao Vitality. Yet it was slow and ardous. This is written for those millions still in bed whilst being gaslighted by the medical community with test results that say they are okay and doctors insisting "everything is fine." All the while the person they once is disintegrating before their and their families eyes.
