Sophia McGovern
Sophia McGovern received her bachelor’s degrees in creative writing and global studies from Arizona State University in 2016. She splits her time between Water Sprouts Collective, making zines, editing and bookmaking with local Phoenix presses, working in an alternative high school, teaching poetry at Boys & Girls Club, and running an ESL program for naturalization preparation.
Her work was nominated for the 2017 Pushcart Prize, and can be found in Beautiful Cadavers Project Anthology, Crux Magazine, Four Chambers Press, Unsellable Inventories, and other publications.
